Note: we urge everyone attending to travel by public transport as there is no parking available. Please do not bring bags as security searches will delay your entry. We have drinks, food and much more on sale at the event so no need to come loaded down with big bags.
Staying Safe at Haringey Pride Festival
We want to make sure everyone has a fun and safe time at Haringey Pride Festival. Please read our policies below.
Ticketing We ask you to sign up in advance for FREE tickets so make the event as secure as possible. If you want to take part in the parade too, just sign up here
Alcohol and Beverages Our licensing conditions do not permit alcohol to be brought into the Haringey Pride Festival venue. There will be a bar supplied by The Goodness Brewery within Ducketts Common serving alcohol and other non-alcoholic beverages which accept cash, card and contactless payments. Water can be brought into the venue but must be in a transparent sealed or original container, and you may be asked to open it in front of security staff. We reserve the right to request the disposal of water prior to entry and bottled water is available to purchase beyond the entry point. Strictly no glass will be allowed into Ducketts Common. Any glass found will be confiscated.
Bag Searches Security bag searches will be undertaken at Haringey Pride Festival for your safety. This may mean that queues could take a little longer than expected, but can be avoided if you do not need to bring a bag. We reserve the right to search any size bag at any time.
Security and Safety Haringey Pride Festival has a relaxed and fun atmosphere but please take the same precautions as you would on any other night out to be safe. There will be plenty of trained security staff around the festival venue who will be available if you have any queries or concerns. In an emergency, please follow the advice of security and stewards. Your safety is our top priority.
Drugs There is a zero tolerance policy to drugs and anyone in possession of drugs will be treated with normal enforcement laws, ejected from the venue and the police called. ‘Legal’ highs are also not permitted on site. No NOS is allowed – anyone found with NOS will be assumed you intend to supply which is illegal.
Photos and Videos We will be taking photos and videos throughout the day for our own records and for local, regional and national publicity. Please let a member of our team know at the time if you would prefer not to be photographed or filmed. We will delete any pictures and/or videos and respect the privacy of each individual.
